So the FA Bug is still there...will we be able to fix it?

If someone adjusts the salary cap numbers to make them realistic, will we be able to prevent major free agents from not signing with anyone? I know it happened in Live 2003, and people did make patches to make the salary more realistic, but I don't think I used them too much.

If you can use self-restraint and not sign them the computer will pick them up a couple fo games into the season I've found.

you could manage it with a db editor and make the players contract lengths longer, and then just make roster changes as they happen with the editor. in 2003 i signed the vets to at least seven year contracts, and left rookies at three year deals, that way only the players already in the fa pool were available with the addition of undrafted rookies each new season, until the current rookie contracts were up. there won't be many fa movements happening till next summer, so through the year i just keep most of the teams as they are and just let them add players through the draft. just one way of working around it, but still should have been fixed.

I don't sign the major FAs that don't find a team by the start of the season, but its just annoying to see such big names not even playing on any teams...

the game should no make u automatically sign draft picks u should be able to negotiate with them...anyone remember steve logan...was supposed to be on golden state but never got the negotiations down...it should be like madden's rookie signing
