I have had it with EA - tyhey post to the world a release date of 10/14 anf then tell noone that is being postponed to when or why????

This is absolutely abysmal customer service.

I am set to buy a PS2 and play ESPN and NEVER, EVER buy an EA game again.

Well we've known for a while that the PC version was coming out on November 4th. So again, that isnt EA's fault that u went to the store to pick it up and it wasnt there.

this gripe makes no sense, you were planning to buy Live for the PC, and instead you're getting ESPN for the PS2 now? why not just got Live for the PS2 and trade it in when the PC version comes out?

In any other business in the WORLD such misrepresentation would be considered grounds for fraud..........

personally i think you should get espn anyway, it represnets the nba much better then live does, im a lil annoyed by the release date and yes easports.com had the pc version listed as 10/14 i didnt know it was delayed till i read the review on gamespot

Actually it is EA's fault. There is still no information available on their site, when the PC version will be released. If you go to ea.com, all you can see is a big "In Stores now" Sign. EA is just not capable of communicating with their customers. How difficult can it be to get a press release out which tells the world, Console version release 10/14, PC version (insert a date)?

And by the way ... November 4th is still not officially confirmed, nor is any other date. EA has just no real interest in his customers ... and we buy it anyway, so why bother ...

It's a good and bad thing that the release date was pushed back. The good --> better chance of getting a more polished and finished game than an unfinished game. The bad --> EA didn't even confirm a release date for the PC and made it look like that the game for every platform was available.
