OK, just wondering. Dell had a $400 price error recently and I was wondering if you managed to take advantage...

That's exactly mine and I'm running Madden 04 at 1024 by 768 with field on medium, players on medium. field density on 8 and others at low. Looks fine and runs fine.

I have this PC for about 4 years now, and i want something that could play my games (MFS 2004, Max Payne 2, Vice City, Live 2004, FIFA 2004 and etc.) on maximum details and run it smoothly.

Radeon 9700 or 9800 is a good chip to buy now, isn't it ?
Is there major difference between 9600, 9700 and 9800 ?
and what about the diffs. from 128MB to 256MB in video cards ?

And how much that PC system i posted before would cost me ?

A 9800 Pro will cost you quite a lot for a video card. Try waiting for the 9600XT which should be coming out very soon.

The 9800 Pro will be faster, but I'm pretty sure the 9600XT won't be too far behind. Also, it is overclockable, if you're into that sort of thing. And it'll cost you $100-$200 less.

hey guys,

just curious on whether mah system is gonna be able to run the game...

CPU - 2.4ghz
RAM - 512mb
GRAPHICS CARD - 128mb ati/Radeon 9000

I have a game called Neverwinter Nights and it runs a little choppy at times...

would nba live 2004 run alright on my machine (if it isn't crap and I buy it in about a months time)

You're talking in the 3rd person? :? :)

Since every1 is bragging about what they have , I'm running

AMD Athlon XP 2500+
40gig hard drive,
Gigabyte Nvidia NForce 2 motherboard
512 DDR
128mb Ati Radeon 9200 & Geforce 4mx <-- onboard graphics card :)

Well since your bragging... lol

AMD athlon xp 2500+ BARTON (Y)
120 GB Maxtor 8mb cahce hd (ata133)(Y)
Abit nvidia nforce2 mobo (Y)
1024mb pc2700 ddr memory (dual channel enabled)(Y)

Crappy geforce2 mx video card (haven't had the time to pick a new vid card but will be soon) i have an onboard geforce 4mx graphics card also.
I see no reason why the geforce2 mx wont run the game even on madden it says its not officially supported but still runs my madden extremly smooth, but if it doesnt work (confident it will but probably will have a new card by then) ill just use the onboard

Decent Machine that does everything I need it to do. (Y)
