Discussion about NBA Live 2004.

Tim Duncan: 40.1 MPG (starter)
Jason kid: 36.5 MPG (starter)
Matt Harpring: 21.7 MPG (true 6th man - starts only 9 games)
Calvin Booth: 2.6 MPG (maybe some 12th or 13th man who only occasionally play when the backup center gets hurt or the team leads by 40 into the 4th Qtr)
I think there are some good signs that sixth man actually plays some minutes (hopefully some difference between 6th man and 8th man)
Also note that Calvin Booth has only played like 17 games so his minutes don't mean much when it comes to major bench players minutes.
What you all think?

Great post, chipper. At first I thought the problem with the MIP was due to 5 minute quarters or something, but Matt Harpring averages good minutes as a player off the bench. I really think that the MIP is a problem that EA needs to correct, but I have no idea why Calvin Booth wins that over everybody else.

he might have had like 5rpg

(in 2mins, yr

MAYBE they calculate productions per 48 minutes played...
e.g. Scoring 1 poings in 2 minutes will mean 24 points/48 minutes.
But I am pretty certain it's rating based, not stat based.

Last year was the first time it was a problem so I don't see why it should be again.

Of course not, in Live 2001 they had the same problem

Last year, every season i played, or simmed, Raja Bell won most improved, he only played like 3 mpg too, this is an Obvious problem from EA. I doubt they'll make the subbing any good ,it hasn't been good since around 97 or 98
