Yes, Joe Logitech Dual Action is great and inexpensive. (Y) I bought it about 2 weeks ago, and it works on any games you have. You can program it to act as a mouse or keyboard. I liked it because it closely resembles the PS controllers, which are the best desin out of the 3 major consoles. (the people that made the Xbox and Gamecube controllers should be shot and hung from a tree). I bought it for Madden 2004 and noticed they have a picture of it on the back of the jewel case...

All of EA's games this year were made with the Logitech Dual Action in mind.

I suggest a Logitech wingman, wingman cordless if you're got some extra money. It's the best gamepad I've ever used.

I was planning to buy a Logitech Dual Action pad, but i read somewhere that you couldn't use the D-Pad for directions in some games like NHL, etc.

For you guys that own this pad, is this true? I mean i prefer the D-Pad for controlling players, than the left analog stick, so please tell me what's the case for this pad before i get it, ok?

one bad thing is that i kinda wore down the shot button, so it's all lose and makes a 'broken' sound every time i push it... but it still works fine

Good for a game like Live which uses almost all the buttons, fits well in the hands and the extra buttons (the ones on the top and the back of the controller are easy to get to)

Hey J-Will I have the logitech dual action. You can use the d-pad in madden, but In Nhl 2004 it is used to call what type of style you want to play, like defend lead. Sine you can't switch from analog to d-pad (or i just haven't figured it out yet) you are stuck using the analogs for nhl and live.
If you need some chump change check out my site.
