I dunno about the performance issues but I second the idea that PC game rocks!

PC games we can patch, console versions we can't. Patches are like a free expansion pack and for that reason alone I will buy the PC version.

NBA-LIVE is the only game available on PC so it doesn't matter to me which one is better, I will get LIVE.

And don't come saying that 2k3 was so much better then Live 2003 before you can get 2k series for the king of gaming aka the PC! The PC is the only way to go and the only platform that these games should be rated on.

It all begun with the PC and it will all end with it as well. The consoles come and go, but PC is for life... A console has a short period of time when it is something new and spectacular and then in just a few months in, well you can see it is old and has poor performance compared to a PC.

I know there are lots of console gamers on these forums, but the fact is. In a couple of years you'll be all talking about how poor the graphics are with PS2 and X-Box... And moan and whine about the fact that why can't we get an upgrade, like the computer players can...

ESPN should bring their game to the big leagues (also known as PC) and then we can really compare the two... Before that, all this battling is a joke. It really doesn't matter who or what does better in what. All I know is that Live comes for the PC and there are no other options, and that's it case closed, NBA Live wins it every year!

(note that there might be some sarcastic comments in this post, but the bottom line is pretty clear in my mind... so don't get all worked up because of this post)

Well put (Y) even though i am a console owner

How bout an enhanced dynasty mode that lets you control tons of aspects.

How do you figure? 2k3 had a way more realistic and involved franchise mode last year which they have further improved apon this year. Just curious?

I think both games are gonna be great in there own way, guess we will have to wait and see which one we prefer the most.

I wonder how many copies espn nba would sell if it wasn't console exclusive?

Why are do people get sucked into group ideology? Shit the EA vs. Sega thing is pathetic...does explain Nazi Germany however!

Just video games I don't understand why people give a flying fuck if EA or Sega wins the battle of reviews and what not....find the game that best suites you and enjoy

well if realistic game play is what you want, we know who won last year at that, nba2k3, so they don't have much to improve on to be the best again this year, hopefully live will be very much improved. U guys act like 1 on 1 against your favorite star at anytime of the day and unlock the rights to their jersey and stuff isn't cool. Oh well, i guess this is an nba live forum and most people in here are biased, but i post in both forums because last year i played both and liked both.

Sega has never had realistic gameplay...2k1 or whatever was supposed to be far more realistic than live, but you could post up from the three point line with your point guard and then dunk on them, and it was too easy to cross someone up...the gameplay has gotten better, but it's far more arcady than Live. The only reason Live got lower scores was because they dumbed down the gameplay a bit to make it more mainstream to compete with the incredibly arcadey NBA2kx series....oh, and unless their dynasty is actually good, I'll only play Live..

hey! we're talking about sega 2k3 gameplay, not 2k1. so did you actually play 2k3?

How bout freestyle? dribble...shooting and 10 man freestyle

How bout an enhanced dynasty mode that lets you control tons of aspects.

How bout sliders?..you can control the game pace and well as tons of other things to suit your fancy.

How bout an nba store where u can unlock tons of "cool stuff"? Brand name shoes...jerseys..you name it.

There are still things that are kept secret according to EA.

i own and play both live03 and 2k3, i play live03 if i have friend to play with but i play 2k3 in a single player or franchise mode and for me that's the difference between the 2, live03 is more fun playing w/ a friend and 2k3 is more fun playing against computer. In live03 I can't be beaten by the computer even in allstar mode, that's not the situation in 2k3. Although graphics wise, live03 is superb while 2k3 looks robotic and looks like an improve player version of nba shootout of playstation1 plattform(lol).
