sliders in live 2004?

Postby mcbiggins on Wed Aug 20, 2003 4:01 am

Has anyone heard if Live 2004 will have the much-need AI sliders that have been standard for hears in the Madden and NHL games? I'd say that the lack of sliders and makingthe game the way I wanted to play was the #1 reason I didn't play live 2003 more.

And thank god for them sliders... This is probably the most important upgrade that has ever happened to the NHL series and I think it will be pretty much the same for Live.

And it's easier for programmers too. They don't have to tweak the gameplay as much as they let you tweak it to perfect. And everybody has a little different perspective on that perfect too.

I hope sliders actually work..
How would you feel if you move your slider all the way to the left and still find the game too fast or something..

The sliders worked very well MM03 so they should work the same in Live 2004.

I highly doubt that won't happen, I doubt that if you move the slider all the way to the left it will still be too fast or something.

I really like sliders, for some reason I find it fun to play around with stuff like that and than test it out and stuff.
Hopefully there is an opition to save multiple positions for sliders, so that like if you change them to what you feel is most realistic. Than u can save them like that, than you can make one that is like a high scoring one and can save that and than if youwanted like make one that is makes the game more defencive. I Hope they do that, than people could post downloads of those sliders so we could find out who has them the most realistic, and stuff like that. :D

Yeah I seem to remember a little slider bar for those hilarious and wacky cut-scenes that the live comedy team threw in there. And we all know what happens when you slide that baby all the way to the left... :?
I know its not the same but.. I understand your concern fo' sho'.

You can save those slider thingies... Atleast you could in NHL 2002. Haven't really looked it up in NHL 2003. The 2003 multi-season mode does remeber the position of the sliders.

One thing they took out in NHL 2003 which thought was bad was the player boost/goalie boost sliders... That way you could add a little more difficulty with giving the AI players a little edge in the game. So it wouldn't be a total walk through. They took them out...

Live could use something to boost the AI players so that you would have to work harder to get those wins.

That cut scenes slider didn't work as well as expected, but the slider for automatic replays did. I'm pretty sure the effects of the gameplay sliders will be evident, especially when set to the extremes.
