I know everyone wants to trade players as well as picks but why not put $money$ into the trades? That way you can trade and get better results.

money would not be easily implemented, the only way that would work is if there was an owner mode, because otherwise you could just throw in money no matter how much you have.

If you mean trading for cap space, not buying a player's contract, that could be implemented. However, it should only be possible if a player has a minimum deal or the other team has enough cap space.
