please bring back the lean in jumper like they had for live2000 that move you can draw lot of contact fouls.

At this point, we'll just have to wait and see if this is included in NBA Live 2004.

In 2003, I have managed to do a Lean In Jumper...But I think it was more of a glitch...than a real shot

I agree that the leaner should be re-introduced. I mean its hard enough to get to that line. I saw that as a good way of getting there as well.

if they bring back the leaner jumper, i hope they make it so that the offensive player doesn't always get the call--because then it'll become a "cheese" move.

What do you guys mean "bring back" the leaning jumper? when did it leave?..i do it all the time in live 2003... i could take a screenshot if needed.

I have too done the lean in jumper in Live 2003, but it comes more as a fluke then a done deal.
Someone wrote that it can be done somehow with the free style controls so that might be the reason you don't see it that often when playing with the keyboard.
I just don't understand that why did they make it so hard to complete. The old system was good and it worked.

it's not realy hard at all, all you have to do is make a post-move that is directed towards the hoop and then shoot wile still in that possition...
please look at this instuktional images...
Tue Jun 03, 2003 9:08 am
can you give a tutorial on what do to execute the move
Tue Jun 03, 2003 9:35 am
he just did, use the freestyle or jab button and press it towards the hoop, keep holding it down and press shoot, it's either that or immediatly after you let go of jab/freestyle you press shoot. Read the post next time

are you able to do it during a actual game. like pump fake someone and do a lean jumper that what im talking about 2000 you do constantly like a fade away jumper.
Tue Jun 03, 2003 12:35 pm
No, it's not implemented in the same way as earlier games (towards the hoop, lean-in; away from the hoop, fadeaway) - only the fadeaway jumpshot is implemented in this manner.
Tue Jun 03, 2003 12:41 pm
ive been doing it for a long time now...
i didnt know you dont know how to do it?
hehe

before you shoot the ball
tap the right analog twice towards the basket and shoot
and then u will do a leaner
u have to time it correctly

bring back the force dunk feature in live 00 &01!!!
which can be done by tabing 'direct pass' and 'shoot' together.
And force layup as well (direct pass + crossover')
and i wonder why a button for alleyoop is needed

'direct pass+pass' is just fine.

i agree cause in live 2003, there is no sure way to get to the line despite how manuy layups & dunks you get... you mainly get and one's, or occassionally get fouled on a jumper or 3 point shot. whenever i play i only get like 3 to 5 attempts per game! i go to the line once, two times or not at all like a everyother game!

I find that the CPU commits more fouls when you attempt layups (rather than dunks, hooks, or jumpshots), so the ability to force a layup would be good.

Am i the only one that thinks lean jumpers look silly?

Yup...!

I agree, it looks stupid. The only time it should be used, is when you get the defender in the air. You should be able to lean in and shoot the jumper while getting fouled (like Sam Cassell). I can't get that to work, so I don't bother shooting them.

I got it to work once but if you get the defender in the air it takes too long to get the move off.
