I hope it doesn't affect OPEN shooting... My player lock character (FG 96) shoots 80% from the field because I only shoot when I'm WIDE open...
Pick and Roll Suffices, but they should really try and screen the guy off instead of giving you a little bit of time...

ok ok 70-75% is insane but if they make 50-60% of their shots, i kind of like that u know, always missing, yuk
That's cool, but 50-60% still isn't realistic compared to the real NBA, so in the interest of having true basketball sim, lower field goal percentages are desirable. But that's the beauty of the sliders - people who want NBA-like percentages can have them, and people who don't want to miss that many shots can have the game they want too.

Open shooting is something that was made both better and worse in NBA Live 2003. Better because you were more likely to hit an open jumpshot, worse because both you and the CPU were too likely to hit an open jumpshot. I don't think that will be a problem in Live 2004.

The Cpu doesn't seem to realise its being defended in the last 2 minutes of a quarter anyway:rolleyes:

Couldn't agree more, the CPU will make the wide open three no matter who it is. Guess who hit 12 threes with an un-edited Shaq in a 5 min. quarter NBA Live 2003 game? *Colin raises his hand, looks around room, lowers his hand* Yeh it happened. I can't begin to describe my frustration when the CPU controlled Sixers, with the shot clocking ready to expire managed to get the ball to Todd MacCulloch behind the arc, who had to fire a desperation three - all net. Sure, I had a comfortable lead at the time, but it still bothered me.

Especially when they LEAN back out of bounds and nail it from almost half court... Rediculous
