I was mucking around with the game and saw that the computer managed to connect with almost every single alley-oop, yet when I tried, I could only get 1 in 10. Is there anyway I could make it a bit more realistic?
Thanks in advance.

Well, I don't know why the AI does too many alley oops in the game, and why it connects almost every single shot and the human controlled players miss so much. The first thing I recomend to you is don't try to do an alley oop until you realize is a very easy one. Only try the ones you think that are the easier ones and even in that way you will miss nearly 3 of 10 attempts. The AI controlled players often do very unreal alley oops such as the ones they give the back to the passing player and can't see at any moment the ball but finishes it anyway. I only try alley oops in 2 for 1 fast break plays but the AI tries all the time and finishes getting me on my nerves. When I try to do alley oops in half court plays like the AI I get the pass out of bounds or blocked or the finishing player simply can't connect, so take my tips and use the alley oop only in fast break!

hm use a good passer to pass to a good dunker eg. kidd alley oop to vinsanity, bryant t-mac, o'neal etc.

So there's no way in changing the gameplay settings to allow my players to connect more often?

Nope. You can't. Try to slow down the playing speed slider. It is the only thing that can help you.

hi i found out that u need to pass the ball when the player u are controlling is about at the semi circle under the basket and then i depends on how u press the alley-oop button. not quite sure yet if u have to press is slow, but i think its analogous to the success of a normal shot.
