Half-court and Fastbreak

Wed Nov 17, 2004 7:06 am

Okay, I am not sure if this has already been asked, but is there an easy way to determine how a player you sign as a free agent or trade from another team will benefit your team? I keep trying to get players that have 3-point abilities, but unfortunately I am still stuck only with a fastbreak strategy. It's getting quite old not being able to do half court, so if any of you know if there is a certain stat or whatever that shows how they will benefit a certain way it would be greatly appreciated.

quoted from your thread in 2005 dynasty issues:

EDIT: Sorry, this was meant for NBA Live 2004, not 2005. Even still, answers are appreciated.

I must not understand your question too well, because it seems to obvious- when I gave that answer I was in technical mode, and maybe got too complicated.

There isn't a 'stat or whatever' that will show how they benefit your team (like MVP Baseball's team chemistry rating). But you can simply look at their 3 point rating before you trade for them....I guess I thought that was too obvious :?

Just check at their 3 point stats
