batch commands

i need help in making a batch. what i need is for the batch to ask the user for a particular input. namely a save slot number and later on the batch will have to remember the number to be used for cbdflite. hope you guys understood what i meant coz its kinda hard to phrase.

right now, im using choice.com and its kinda limited to how many choices i make and there doesnt seem to be a limit for save slots in nba live
