I have a Linksys router. Is there a setting i can change so i can create a game and have others join it?

Turn on the "DMZ" setting and assign it to the internal IP that NBA Live gives you in the "IP Direct Connect". (ie. 192.168.0.125)
You do this by going into your router settings. Type in "ipconfig" in command prompt then type in the gateway it shows you (most likely 192.168.0.1) in your browser and press enter. You'll need to enter the user name/password for your router. If you haven't changed anything look in your router manual for the correct user/password.
After you've turned on DMZ for your computer you can now create games on EASO.
If you want to play IP Direct Connect give the other person you "real" IP address. To find out your real IP address you can go here:

I just turn on port 3658 for NBA LIVE 2004 and I can create games.
For direct connect tell them your router ip.

I have a Netgear router and optimum online cable internet. Are you sure i don't have to forward any ports?

I'm using a router aswell, and I can't connect to others games.
Is there a particular port I can open to allow me to host games, aswell as join others?
