Hi

I wanted to know if there is any way that you could sign free agents and trade players to other teams in Dynasty mode in NBA Live 2004.

I want to know because I'm tired of seeing all these elite players just sitting in free agency. Like before I had Kenyon Martin, Eric Dampier, Nick Van Exel and Brent Barry as free agents for almost 3 seasons and nobody signed them and I'm tired of that.

You can if you want. Do some DBF editing or do it the easy way (sign him yourself, trade him to a team for a crap player).

Or if you don't want to mess with your DBF files or are playing one of the console versions, simply sign them to your team for the minimum and trade them to another team (say, to their original teams) for their lowest rated player.

I play on the PC.

I don't know how to edit db files and I really dont want to try because everytime I do change something my game messes up.

Like just today I downloaded the 04/05 memphis grizzlies jersey and to install I needed to change 'custom art' from '0' to '1'. So I did. And the Memphis jerseys are fine but the 03/04 jerseys for every other team are messed up. Like they're wearing messed up practice jerseys with jean shorts. When I change the 'custom art' back to '0' then everything is back to normal but I don't have the new Memphis Jerseys.
