Converting a customart patch to a viv

Postby chipper on Wed Aug 11, 2004 12:44 pm

I have a bunch of customart patches in my render/xplayer folder that I downloaded for the 95/96 season patch.

Since my game is unstable (it would freeze every now and then) and becomes almost unplayable with the 'customart 1' setting (yes i did apply the patch), I would like to convert all custom art files to the viv files and import them into xplayer.viv and xteam.viv and so on.

The problem is that custom art patches do not have all the necessary files to make a complete viv. Players like AC-Green do not have an original viv file in xplayer.viv, and there are only 2 files in his folder,

acgreen.fsh and acgreen_loda.o

Is there anyway I can somehow get other .o files from somewhere and make a complete acgreen.viv file that would work?

Thanks in advance!

open up the acgreen_loda.o with notepad, you'll notice at the top it'll say whos headshape that originally was, extract that persons headshape (not including the loda), rename and import into acgreen.viv...

Thanks pontiacsilverdome for your offer. I have like 100 people to convert so I might as well just convert AC Green too anyway.

And thanks Repole, I would certainly try that
