I converted my xbox controller (i did it myself though through some wire sautering (sp.) and such) so it can play pc games too, and i also have a thrustmaster firestorm, so i'm pretty happy with my controllers. havent used the keyboard since the release of live 2003...

No problem.

If you can click the link go to BestBuy.com and type in the search "Nyko Air Flo".

That may help out a bit too.

Mine didn't even last a month and even when it worked it sucked (N)
What's the best controller to play?

I've had it since February or March... it still works fine.

does anybody have the "wireless" thrustmaster firestorm?

I'm contemplating about buying one.

Is it any good?

IF YOU ARE USING KEYBOARD YOU CAN ALSO DO CROSSOVER MOVES, JUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS

Go to "My Documents\NBA Live 2004\configs" and open the .kfg file with your name on it (or whatever you named it while creating it) using notepad. Then, open AfterShock.jfg using notepad, copy the lines 8 and 9 and paste them into the .kfg file right below the bind K_F CALLPLAY line and name them as follows:

bind K_N RYAXISCHANGE
bind K_M RXAXISCHANGE

You can change the N and M keys to whatever you want. For example, if you want to allot the RYAXISCHANGE function to the D key on the keyboard, just replace the letter N with D.

ok I just ordered two NYKO AIR FLOWS from ebay. I was just wondering if this controller "vibrates" when there is contact? You know, just like in Xbox.

The fact that it is recommended doesn't mean anything....actually it makes me angry toward EA as they recommended a controller which is well known as being defective. Do a quick reserch on the internet, check amazon, check the forum on logitech.com.....everyone is complaining,.....everyone is definetly being robbed.

Of course, untill it works, it is a great controller, but it will break sooner or later...in most case very soon. I had mine for 4 months...and I was lucky. For some people it worked 1 day, for others a couple of weeks. Usually it lasts for less than 2 months.

So, save your money, DO NOT BUY. it is DEFECTIVE....and EVERYONE KNOWS...even LOGITECH.

The firestorm Dual Power is a way more reliable. The shape is not as good as the dual action....but overall it is an excellent controller...solid..and it will not break. Between the 2...there is no game....it's like choosing between buying a controller or open your trash can and throw 20$ in it.

What would you choose?

Trust me...I have had both of them.
