directx 9c or new ATI drivers making the game choppy......

hi guys

i installed both directx9c AND new ATI drivers for my 9700 pro, and since then the game is in general at 44 FPS instead of 77 before !............
did anyone get the same issue ?!?
which one would u say is to blame ??.......... (before i uninstall both.. i wanna spare an innocent !.. )

I use DX9 and new ATI driver for my Radeon 9800Pro, 60FPS

found the bug : ATI's drivers........ u're all warned... (at least 9700pro owners)
