Tricky Ricky, I know you're new and not quite used to everything around here, if you're asked to stop doing something, it would be feesible for you to actually take the advice. You'll make less enemies this way.

I know you have a right to post with as many quotes as you want..these guys also have every right to ask you to cut down on it & to ask you not to bring up old threads. It's mentioned in the rules, if you have rights...so do they.

Here's a few tips..use em:

If you want to quote, don't quote the WHOLE message, quote whatever is needed, thus whatever line or lines you're responding to. Just imagine what a thread would look like if everyone started quoting whole paragraphs.

I know you like quoting, but meet us half way, try and keep it to a few lines, basics only. A whole message doesnt always need to be quoted. :wink:

Plus this way you don't piss everyone off. (Y)

About resurrecting the thread to request the patch, it's not the way to do it. You could of handled the situation in a different manner, I understand you wanted the patch, but we have a PM'ing system on the forum. You could have PM'ed the creator of this patch requesting the patch, you could've requested one of the people who actually already had the patch, perhaps they would be willing to share. We live to give as Jae put it. (Unless it comes to official CD files, that's a no-no.)
We also have a patch request forum, you could've gone there, made a topic, quoted this topic & requested your fellow members to share. (Although option A is the way to go, PM always works. :wink:

)

Just try and not piss other members off Tricky or Ricky...it won't help you in the long run.

Back to the problem, Ricky...ruffryder asked not to bring up old topics, you should have apologised & just said what you needed and left it at that.

Homer, you didn't have to bring up anything about Germans being good in porn or anything about the movie problem child, that's like me telling you to go watch One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. It's just not needed.
