Getting the dornas be displayed correctly!

Fri Jun 18, 2004 9:33 pm

Hi!

I didn't like the dornas, so I extracted them, changed them, and wanted to get them into the game. I did it with CustomArt (enabled), and put them as .fsh files to: render\xstadium. I changed:

dornaallstar
dornacanal
dornaconfeast
dornaconfwest
dornafinals
dornahistoric
dornamcdonalds
dornaplayoffs
dornaseason
dornaspeedstick

I changed all these files, that are located in the xstadium.viv. But the game doesn't display the dornas, only the Speedstick. As I remove only the Speedstick, everything works properly. But then I have that anoying old Speedstick.

So what can I do? Please help me!

in the speedstick dorna, does it have transparent parts? make sure that where there was transparent parts on the original version, theres transparent parts on your new version (i know its kinda hard to explain unless you know patching)

If I change a team's dorna (odrn.fsh located in **std.fsh), it works properly. But just when it comes to the fukking Speedstick...

So how do I make them transparent? Could I send you my files so that you check for them on your computer?

wish i knew lol, remember, where theres transparent parts on the original dorna, there has to be transparent on the same places on the new dorna
i think the only dornas that dont have transparent parts are...
dornafinals,
dornaconfwest,
dornaconfeast,
dornaplayoffs,
and thats it, all other dornas have transparent parts

So how do I make them transparent? I think the fact you're telling about the non-transparent dornas is absolutely the reason for displaying wrong!

Do you know someone who could help me, man, cuz I really need the help! And thanks a lot for that information! :D

i have photoshop, and i just erased the parts i wanted to be transparent
and you know if theres a teransparent part if u view it in fshed and hit the little magnifying glass on the bottom-right and when the window pops up if theres all little grey and white boxes thoes parts are transparent
altho, on the mcdonals, speedstick, and season, theres black parts..... wait, maybe you could just make the parts plain black and that'd work?
*goes to try in-game*

I did it as the EA Sports dorna, just replacing those which already exist. Anyway, I have Paint Shop Pro, so what tool do I have to use in order to get the parts I need transparent?

Ooooooooh... I forgot: I don't have anyone of those! :x

I have Corel Draw 10 (not installed) and my favourite program Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8. So how do I make it with them? If you don't know, just tell me how you do it with your program!

If it just would be such easy... They still are not transparent, you just erase that part and get a new color that you set in your preferences!
