~~~ NBA Live 2004 Completest Music Update ~~~
Tue Jun 22, 2004 12:43 am
:arrow: :arrow: :arrow: My music topic on NBALive.org :!: :!: :!:
Hi!
I thought that EA's music sounds boring, hearing the same songs all the time. Man, I know them by heart! So why not to update the music completely? That's what I did!
I updated the ingame songs, the names of the menu songs (:mrgreen:), the practice songs and the introduction music (at the start of each game). But I just need some help considering compressing the file and get a host! So if somebody could host me, please post some comments here! What I updated, I will only tell you when I have a host. All I can tell you: The style of the music is, of course, Rap/Hip-Hop :lol:!
I would be very pleased if somebody would sacrifice himself for me! I already have the songs ingame, I just wanted you to enjoy the game much more, as well as I do - considering the new Rap music! :wink:
Try geocities or file planet temporarily.
Nice idea, but as I know, that's illegal. Have you got permission to use these songs :roll: ? I mean, if it's for your own use, I think that's ok, but releasing such stuff without permission... I don't think so :scold:
i don't know how big the files are but you can use yahoo mail. They offer 100MB free space and you can send files in 10MB chunks.
What are you talking about? Everyone takes his songs from the internet in these days :roll:, I'm just offering people to add fun to their games! :cool: You are obviously not Sony (R)!
LOL, I'm sure the music industry will come after the NBA Live forums for distrubuting a new music list for the game(being sarcastic) :wink: . Anyways, pm me ricky and let me know how big the file is and I'll give ya the space.
Well while everyone talks about this legal shit, patching live itself is illegal....
The files included in live are all copywrited, copywrote, copywritten i dont know which one but its one of those 3 :D , modifying them and redistributing them in any way is illegal. So why dont the companies get mad, why do they even promote patching (notice how EA fixed the custom art bug, and what else is that used for)? Well first off the files are copywrote for a completely different reason, to prevent piracy, not to prevent patching. of course, technically this makes patching illegal. And secondly EA even promotes patching, due to the fact that it may even help them sell games. I dont know if i'd get live every year if it wasnt for patching....
Anyways, uhh that was kinda pointless.... but since i just went through the effort of typing that i think i'll post it anyways...
What do you mean you have IN GAME music? You mean like when the ball is in bounded and i'm dribbling up court...you changed THAT music?
I've already done the menu and practice music, but you've changed the IN GAME music???
HOW DID YOU DO THAT???? Please post a "For Dummies" version of how to do that!
Hi!
Don't call yourself dummy, man! Actually I don't know either, I meant the menu music and music for practice modes. But this is a good idea, really! :P I suppose them to be in the "audio" folder, but maybe they are somewhere else, so I would be pleased for help! I just gotta have a tool that converts them all to MP3/WAV! :D
Just try to find out something of the above! By the way: Did you also change the song names of your menu music? :lol:
Ricky Davis, please try and condense your consecutive posts into one post as opposed to many in a row. Thanks :)
