Yes, it's very helpful sometimes.

yup. it is so useful especially for pick and roll.

I like getting my power forward (Tim Thomas) a tthe high post and taking a guard(Desmond Mason) on the block, then swith to the guard and run up and around the forward then back to the hoop, you loose the defender up top frequently and it's almost a guaranteed lay-up, so I don't always use it (like I don't always use pro-hop.)

And if the other team is playing a zone, I get the zone-player on the wing guarding me then bring Mike Redd up the baseline for a wide-open J. Off-ball is very useful.

If the comeback code has been a little too nasty, I will use it to score easy layups. I'll also use it if I'm trying to get a player a triple double. Otherwise I use it sparingly: only when other strategies have been exhausted or aren't as effective.

I use it a lot.
Especially playing against human opponents.
I like to shoot open threes that way.
It's quite hard to get an open shot without using it...
I think to be REALLY good at the game, you have to use it regularly.

I don't use it that often except for inbounds plays. I found that if you call for a pass RIGHT after you begin the move, the pass will usually be off, so don't pass right after you move the stick.

I don't find it that hard to get open 3's. I ususally dump the ball in, pass the ball around, running offensive set plays and then usually a guy breaks away for an open 3 admist the tangled rotation defense, then swish.
