IS POSSIBLE CPU TAKE OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS ???

Postby Xavi on Fri May 07, 2004 11:37 pm

Is possible that cpu takes offensive rebounds ?? Because i have this sliders:

user: def rebounds = 0
cpu: off rebounds = 100

user strategy: protect rebound = no
cpu strategy: fight rebound = yes

With this cpu not takes more than 2 or 3 off rebound per game and i don't underestand this.

yes, which CPU team is this? the CPU won't grab that many o rebs, just at most i've seen is 5 a game...give or take a few. often times, though they grab around 1 or 2.

I don't know...seems like I'm never really satisfied, no matter what happens. Normally, the CPU gets around 2-4 o rebs and it's annoying. But Duncan completely outrebounded me once, posting 11(!) offensive rebounds that looked all the same: my player jumps for the rebound - which he should get, cause the timing was good - but for no reason, the ball slips through his hands, duncan pops up and jams it through the hole. I was so frustrated that I almost cancelled the match. It never happened to me since, though.

Only if you let them take it.
They never fight for the rebound and just watch the ball.

Whoa, today I played the Lakers and the cpu had 5 offensive boards (5 minute quarters) compared to 3 by me. 4 of the Lakers were from Shaq. He actually crashed the boards.
