Adding Braids + .BMP to .FSH + 2x Textures Question

Couple Questions for those that know......

Whats the best way to create Braids on the BHED :?:

When i convert a bmp to fsh i lose a ton of colours and everything becomes pixelated, whats the correct way to convert :?:

Are 2x textures just 256 to 512 or is there more to it than that :?:

only thing i can help with is the .bmp to .fsh, get fshed and import over the existing bhed with the .bmp you made.....
