I was wondering if there's a way to hear the name of a draft created player, at least for those players with used name like Johnson etc..
bye

I don't think it's possible to edit their appearances. This year created and generated players don't use the old "AAAAAA" PLAYERPKG values, so we're unsure how to correctly modify their appearances through DBF editing.

well i found how you kind of can, because draft players are in players.dbf if you look in your saves folder and i tried to just change his hair but it didnt work

, i'll keep trying

I got a drafted player edited. (2nd round draft pick). I only changed it's name and skills.
Problem I had with it is that I had him playing extremely well, almost got the MVP, but he didn't win the Rookie of the Year. He also never got Rookie of the month award.
I was wondering whether the game is only considering 1st round draft picks to be rookie of the month/year. Anybody with similar experience?

You can edit the bio data, but so far it seems that editing appearances is impossible.

actually you can edit their appearance in-game, but first you need to change the isgenerate field in players.dbf to false, then you can edit it in game..

Of course! You can always save a new roster file, copy the players.dbf from your Dynasty to the save slot, change the ISGENERATE field and edit appearances in-game. Remember to change the ISGENERATE field back to True when copying players.dbf back to the Dynasty's save slot. Also, make up a backup of your Dynasty in case something goes wrong!

does anybody have directions on how to edit generated rookies' nicknames. (I noticed that feature is grayed out in the Edit Player function)
Basically, I love the commentary but there's only so much I can take of "Number 20 nails the jumper! Number 57 is making statement defesively with that block!"
It's not their actual names but at least it's a little more personal.

To change the nicknames for the generated rookies, just open the players.dbf file with any dbf editor, go to the nicknameid field of the rookie you need, and enter a value from 9500 - 9519.
I think that should do it. If you want to know which value is what nickname, just open the nicknames.dbf file in the same folder as the players.dbf file
