INSIDE SCORING

U guys know what is meant exactly with inside scoring parameter?
is it refered to the ability of scoring of a player just exactly in the painted area ?
is it refered to the ability of scoring of a player just exactly in the painted area ?

i've tried to test this out in practice mode and from what i can see, i believe it's the area just within about 10 feet from the basket.
