ps2 sliders

Tue Mar 02, 2004 1:51 am

just wanted to know what other peoples sliders are set at when playing on superstar 12 minute quarters. the reason i ask is that when iam playing the cpu just jacks up 3's all the time its so unrealistic i just played Houston and they shot 37 3's almost 50% of there shots were from downtown, Cat Mobley shot 23 for f*"ks sake!!
my sliders are...

Game speed 39

Cpu short range shots 52
Cpu med range shots 48
Cpu long range shots 30

what can i do to make the game just alittle more realistic??

{edit}

just played the Hornets and they took 53 3's!!!
other than taking the quarter lengh down what else can i do?

I used Andrew's sliders as a basis and made some changes. My game speed is 50 and CPU Short and med range shots are on 45. Long range is on 35-37 depending on how many they miss and make. The CPU attempts around 15-20 a game against me and I play on 9 min quarters.

yeah i did a search... which i should of done before making this post, i found the topic i needed and used a combo of Andrew's and Bens sliders and got a pretty cool game out of it, played the bulls and they only shot 11 3's most of there points came from the post and the rest from mid range jump shots. they shot 43% for the game.
problem sorted.

thanks for you input Ruff (Y)

I've found that the lower you make the on-the-ball physical defense the more realistic the game plays. I think I have both of mine set to 15-- there's a lot less of people getting bumped several feet across the floor.

It might just be my personal taste, but it doesn't seem to me like Mike Bibby should be able to blast Shaq out of the low-post.

Otherwise, the sliders here look a lot like what I'm using. I might tweak in a few places based on your set.
