NBA-Live patch converter?

Don't know if this is posted in the right section :?

Has anyone ever thought about an editor who can convert patches from earlier NBA-lives to NBA-Live 2004. It would be very easy to have one.
Or can anyone tell me if this is possible?

It's possible to do, but a program for it probably is not. It just takes good hard work, and headshape searching, and you can convert any face from Live99-03.

i disagree...its impossible to do. The mapping, colors etc of the graphics are different.

no it's not impossible don daily had a conversion tool to convert old jerseys, rosters, and cyberfaces to live 03

his tool didn't convert the mapping and colors of the actual graphics. I re-iterate..its impossible to do.

You can do it manually. The easiest thing to convert are the cyberfaces.

Its possible... Ive used MS Access but its definitely not so easy if you dont know the program and it needs loads of tests.

The file I sent you has being created from a 2k3 roster converting a Don Daily roster. As you have seen, generated cyberfaces is the only thing really difficult to convert coz its "encoded" within the dbf players file (Access cant read the 7 chars for cyberfaces). In the beginning I tried to automatically update them as well but I didnt have so much time.

Anyway its a great challenge to make it work and its been nice to see the results. Hope you'll enjoy the 9394 season (even if cyberfaces...)

yeah sure I enjoy them Birovr. But I'm a Newbee with Access as well as with creating cyberfaces. :cry: :oops:
