CODEBASE ERROR? Please help!!!

hey, when i try to go into Individual Practice with my guy, cuz i have a patch i wanna take screens of, when it's done loading it makes the "Warning Noise" and freezes, i hit ctrl+tab, to get out of game, and this window is up this is exactally how it looks

NOW I hit "OK" and go back in-game, I'm practiceing and stuff, and my patch worked so i want to go into Instant Replay to take Screens, and when i hit "start" the game crashes, someone please help, it works fine in regular game modes, Practice is the only problem

That error is usually caused by a corrupt DBF file.

how do i figure out which 1?

Judging by that error message, I'd say teams.dbf.

Is there a field (column) called 'TEAMS' in players.dbf?

i have that error thing to...
it happens whenever i try to simulate or play in the dynasty, so basicly, i can't get anywhere in it
it's pissing me of, since im in my 23'th season now

i think it's an error in my .dbf files, but since im in my 23'd season, i haven't edited any player that is still there, their all new generated players...

I got it for the first time last night? I just started the game back up and everything went well again. Hmm..this is what i did--

I loaded Ben's new roster, then after i played a quick game--I went to load my own roster--then when I went to go back (back button)--it happened..

rename "my documents\nba live 2004\settings\settings.dat" as settings2.dat

i get the same error. i didnt do any team editing thou. all i did was download and install the nbdl patch. since then all i did was reload another rosters and im getting that error. unlike others im unable to continue my game. as soon as i click on escape key it brings me back to windows

RARE SIGHTING! AND NBDL DOWNLOADER! SOMEONE TAKE A PICTURE! lol, i have had this same problem, not with the nbdl patch though. i had a teamgears.dbf file updated for the ncaa mod i'm working on, and it had worked before when loading, but i pasted a new players.dbf that i had converted from last year in there, and since i did that teamgear.dbf messes up. if i replace it with the default teamgear it works fine, but i speant a TON of time updating the gear for ncaa teams, and now i have to start over

you don't lol, redownload the roster ur using and instal it again

come on man u must know of a way to un-install it if u made this patch.. i just want my live to work.. what files can i remove?
