Why I hate this game. (venting session)

So I'm playing Game 4 of the Conference finals. San Antonio vs. LA. SA looking to sweep the Lakers. These drove me up the wall.

1. My passes always intercepted. Theirs goes straight through my player's bodies. Since the gameplay setting is for both CPU and player - ain't sh*t I can do.

2. In quarter 2, I played mad Defense and had the shotclock down to 1. O'neal shots a 3 from the top of the arc. Swish.

3. Up by 8 in the 4th Quarter with 1 minute left. LA gets magic hands. They automatically steal every posession without fouling. If the LA player so much as touches, my player, it's their ball.

4. Same 4th Q with 1 minute to go. Fox and Payton hit 3 three's with Bowen and Parker AND Duncan draped all over them like cheap suits.

4. No foul calls in this same period whatsoever for me. Despite shooting about 5 gimpy shots, I get no love from the refs.

What the f*ck is this, communism? Equality for all teams that are oppressed and down in the 4th Q? I have CPU assist off. This is not unique to this particular playoff game mind you. Every time, if the game is close, the opponent will turn up magic defense. This means everything is a steal. If my player is doubled for more than 1/2 second, it's a steal. Oddly enough, I can't duplicate this amazing feat when I'm down even if I have defense all on high and double team - yes.

I ended up being so pissed I switched users and called 5 timeouts for the CPU to give me technical free throws.

1. Did it happen all game? If so, the CPU Interception slider will take care of that.
2. Yeah, that's happened to me too. It wasn't Shaq, but another big man who doesn't have three point range. It's frustrating.
3. Have you made any adjustments to the steals slider? I've noticed this problem in small doses, but it's nowhere near as bad as it was last year.
4. Yeah, that still happens, but fortunately not as often as in NBA Live 2003. The comeback code keeps things competitive, but the methods can be very frustrating.
5. I've had that happen to me too. Sometimes it's cost me the game, other times I've been able to overcome it. I guess it's realistic in a way, irritating nevertheless.
