Trading! To Easy?

I play with the Mavericks. My Starting lineup:

C D. Nowitzki
F R. Wallace (former Blazers)
F A. Walker
G T. McGrady (former Magic)
G S. Nash

And now my Bench players:

F P. Stojakovic (former Kings)
G K. Kittles (former Nets)
G C. Billups (former Pistons)
C. Nesterovic (former Spurs)
and two unpopular free Agents

But I think it was to easy to get this Team. I've yust fired my bad Players and signed some good free Agents with an average from 59 to 54. I've traded them with my original Player to the other Team and get top Players. Of course, thats to easy, or not? What do you think?

thats exactly what i did in my nba 2003 game with the t-wolves. yes it is easy but it defeats the purpose of the game. Cause you make it very easy and it gets boring very fast. :cool:

Yeah, in years past I've assembled teams that have won exorbitant amounts of games. I assembled a team of all high 80s and 90s for 2001 that won 81, 82, 82, 81, and 82 games in consecuative years. Duncan, a drafted player, McGrady, Iverson (at his peak), and a drafted player. And this was with the Vancouver Grizzlies or something.

Now, I try to limit trades to what I know is realistic. See, the sorry AI in Live just adds up total ratings points, and if it's in their favor, they take it. Allows you to do a 70+50 = 85+30 (obviously not equal in real life). I limit myself to one or two trades a year, and I account for potential, etc, and try to look at their needs. If I see a team that's in the playoff hunt at the trade deadline, I might trade my 78 for their top 5 pick at a 71, knowing that that would be an approximate NBA trade.

your complaining about getting all those players with the mavs try and do it with a bottom tear team .. i doubt you get that close in 1 yr.. it will take you longer to put that team together. the mavs are loaded of course its easy.
