Maybe he's referring to your satisfaction--or lack of it.

When are these 64 bit cpus coming out? You got a link? I told myself that if Live 2005 PC came out then i would upgrade.

There aleady out, have been for a couple of months. They are allImage though, i am waiting it out until Intel rls theres! No need 2 post a link just run a search on google there are 1000s of sites selling 64 bit.

Upgrading to a 64-bit processor is a waste of money. All applications to date are 32-bit applications and software companies are not going to do a lot of conversions initially because of costs and things like that. A good 2.4-3.0GHz processor and a great deal of RAM of at least 1GB should have your system running like a champ! BTW I'm looking to upgrade so I've saved some cash and I'm hoping to sell my existing system for the remaining money. Here's what I have to offer:

Intel Pentium 4 2.26GHz (533MHz FSB)
256MB PC2100 DDR RAM (I have 768MB but I'm keeping my 512 stick  )
128MB DDR ATI Radeon 8500le
36x CyberDrive CD-RW
60G 7200rpm Maxtor ATA-100
ECS P4VXASD2+ 533MHz FSB Motherboard
5 total PCI slots, AGP 4x, AMR slot
Onboard AC'97 Sound Codec
Onboard 10/100 Ethernet
4 USB 2.0 Ports
Standard 101-key Keyboard
Logitech Optical Scroll Mouse
Original MotherBoard Drivers on Factory CD
Tons of Extra Software (PM me for details  )
Asking price is $450.00 plus shipping

If ur gonna upgrade to 3ghz machine and not go for a 64bit cpu, THATS A WASTE OF MONEY.
1. All cpus WILL be 64bit.
2. So far all 64bit cpus are also compatible with all 32 bit software, so no need for any "Conversions"
I get your 3ghz,1gb, but whats the point, uprading to 64bit now means it will be your only real upgrade for, lets say 6-7 years. If a someone upgrades to 32 bit now they are going to need a faster machine in the next 2-3 years. Its easy to think that its only twice the power(32x2=64)but its not. 32bit registers can only run apps at a max of 4GB, 64 can run as much as 16TB(terabyte is 1 up from GB). Dont know if u remember when the 1st pentium came out, the systems b4 32bits seemed useless, thats whats gonna happen again!!
I have wasted so much money on Pcs its unreal, i dont now, because i have learnt, the hard way

And thats what we call in the buisness.. pissing away your cash! It just boggles the mind to see people throw away money like that just to run some computer games. Why the hell do you need 4 screens when you only have 2 eyes? Unless there was some cool feature in live to play as a first person and be able to see lets say 180 degrees facing foward... so you could really have some court vision... no point! Hmmm mabey you guys guys want 4 screens so you can simulate flying another plane into some famous buildings. :lame: (N)

 WTF IS THAT  WTF ARE U TALKING ABOUT :?: ARE YOU HIGH :?:
LET ME UNBOGGLE YOU, PEOPLE WHO WHO SPEND THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY ON THERE PC DO NOT "JUST PLAY GAMES" (N) PEOPLE WHO NEED 3/4 SCREENS DO NOT "JUST PLAY GAMES", A PC IS NOT FOR "JUST PLAYING GAMES"
Heres a free lesson, £2000 in = £20000 out. IN MY BUSINESS ITS CALLED "AN INVESTMENT"
What has 5000 innocent people murdered at work, got to do with this thread on this forum :?: :?: :?: :?: Its slightly off topic :!:
