it's one of the logos like logo_s logo_sk or xorvlogo or one of the viv files

Just another note, there was someone who managed to play Bobcats in dynasty. He did so by replacing the Hornets (or maybe Griz i dun remember) with the Bobcats.
So I am pretty confident it's not the graphic files.
The fact that 30 team season with Bobcats works perfectly in season mode also solidifies this theory

The ideal situation would be to have all 30 teams in Dynasty Mode though. It doesn't look like that will be possible.

No, unfortunately it doesn't seem to be.
Would EA answer this kind of question?
They do not answer any patch-related queries as far as i know.

Yeah i just tried, replaced the Hawks with the Bobcats, the graphics were fine but for some reason it still crashed. Could be that i signed new players before the Dynasty instead of having jst the C-C, PF-PF... etc.
Yeah i think its not gonna b that fun if you cant have all 30 teams, but if anyone has got it working fine by replacing a team with the Bobcats, id be interested to know how.
