getting dreadlocks into the game

He guys,
I'm trying to get Etan Thomas working as a patch but I can't get his dreads in the game.
I've tried it with working the DBF hairtype 2, with copying the entire _lodau, etc. and with copying faces but it just doesn't work...
Can anyone give me some help?
