Andrew,
thanks to your dbf editing guide...
I'd like to add to more considerations after I did a lot af test regarding these parameters so patchers can make a better job
1) PLAYERVALUE: We can do a right approssimation using this formula
-Average(all the 20 ratings using the 0-99 range- NO scorearea)*70.285
- Round the value to the INT you reckon its better
Note: if this value is bigger than 5400 then the parameter has to be set to 99
I tried with the original db and it looks its givin a right approssimation
2) OVERALLRTG: again the approssimation can be
99-(5400-PLAYERVALUE)/40
and then rounded
Again the original db has been a good test
Of course these wont be the formula used by EASPORTS but used in dbf (Im havin a look at historical rosters) prevent from visualising wrong data (last yr historical rosters werent calculated so the overall marks displayed in the game werent the real one in the game).
Hope this will help somebody out there.
Ciao,
B

Thanks for the note.

However, I wouldn't recommend changing the OVERALLRTG or PLAYERVALUE in the DBF - there isn't really much need. But good work nevertheless.

I reckon its useful changing those pars when your substantially changing a players ratings usin DBcommander.
Lets say your reducing by 50% all the ratings of a player got injured this year... If you did leave overallrtg and playervalue immutate you would still see the original overall mark...
