A patch is an update to ur game for an ex. if lakers or any other team get a new jersey in real life well there are modders on this site that make those things like jerseys, courts, faces and shoes and all other stuff like see ur shot clock well the ea sprots one well someone made an tnt clock and its soo cool well it just updates ur game with newer stuff AND THATS
WHY i play PC games because of that patches and updates
