Problem. I cannot gain any points after an online match..

Tue Dec 02, 2003 2:49 pm

Hi all,

I have played a couples of online match in the ea server.
last night, i joined a game with the entry fee of 250 points.

we played 4mins a quarter and finally i won the game.

everything fine during the match.
But, when the game is over and in the screen showing 'Player of the game', 'stat', etc..

a message box stated that "other side has terminated connection", is it normal ??
i am not sure because i just play one game before .

and when i went back to the lobby and checked my career.
It show 0 GP , it means i haven't finished a SINGLE game ??

i wonder if it is normal or some mistake or the guy who play with me cheated me.

i don't care the match result (doesn't matter win or lose).
but i want to find out what's happened.

anyone have an idea of this issue??
thanks a lot.

I have heard of these lame ass players that don't take losses well.

I have friends that play Star Craft online and they have told me of this problem. When you play a game and lose! And before returning from the game you disconnect to it, well you don't get a loss. It is so lame with guys having played 600 games of Star Craft and have 0 losses!

They have done so to prevent themselves from gaining a loss to their record.

This is a sad thing for online gaming... It enables easy "cheatin" of the system and perverts it all so that none of the statistics mean anything. You should try to seek out players that have a loss or to their account, so you know they can take it, when you wipe the floor with their ass...

It shouldn't happen... And those people that do this, well they just are young punks that "have" to be the best player in the world, or atleast better then his buddies so he can brag... Childish, is this behaviour...

so finally i know what's happened.
yeah, they are childish.

I can't see how important of a perfect stats, neither a crappy stats.
we should enjoy the game but not counting too much of the result, right ?

thanks for your advise.
i'll check the oponents' career before joinning any game ~~

:P
