The game plays smooth with graphics maxed out!.
V-Sync enabled was slightly choppy.
Here's the link to the screens.

I want to show u guys the site but I don't want anyone to steal my layout ideas.
It's done totally in Flash. I'll post when it's complete.

Please post what setup you've got. That you could play on max doesn't say much to us when we don't know your machine.

I'm glad u guys appreciate the screens.

Thanks man! I appreciate it!A couple questions, what are your ingame settings and resolution? Is everything on Max and are you playing on the higest resolution (1600x1200?)--Do you notice any lag in the game like we do sometimes on the console version?
if you've played the console and the pc, which is better and why?
Tue Nov 11, 2003 10:22 am
I haven't played Live on a console so I can't really judge.
1024x 786 is my resolution.
I didn't notice any lag until I turned the V sync on. I have no idea what it does other than make my game slightly choppy.
I have to say that I really love this version of Live. The body collisions actually make a difference. There seems to be a lot of contact when driving to the hole.
I adjusted the sliders to make the game realistic imo. My scores are usually in the 80's or 90's.
The players ratings are different than before but some how the game seems more realistic.
I'm sure some guys will complain about the game but with all the sliders available there's no way you can say that it's not realistic.

Thanks man, aight no more questions--I'll just leave it a suprise for Wednesday--got a half day too! I'll be playing this game at noon--and Tony--if you don't get the game Wednesday bro--you'll be the first person i send the fsh files too! Just tell me what ever you need me to send you and it's yours. I figure that's the least i can do for the years i've been downloading your patches!
Madhooper, any more updates tonight?

anyone know what exactly this does? It was in Live 2003, but is it a graphical thing?
Is everything unlocked since the cpu player doesn't have an EA Bio?Like jerseys and shoes? Or do we have to earn them via NBA store?
Compared to 2003 PC, is there a graphical improvement in the game(IYO)
What gamepad are you using for the game?
Tue Nov 11, 2003 11:42 am
i wanna see some create player faces
Tue Nov 11, 2003 12:21 pm
Thanks very much, if you could post some pics of the created player faces that would be great. Great to see you forced an 8 second halfcourt, I haven't done that for a long time (2001.) I love the Starbury pics.

Well... this thing turned on forces your graphics card to synchronize rendering with refresh rate of your monitor...
I'll try to put it simple: your graphics card will render next frame without waiting for your monitor to draw previous frame...
What that means is that you should never get vertical tearing on the screen during play with VSYNC turned ON...
But when VSYNC is OFF you will get better framerate (sometimes it's A LOT better) and, in most cases, there's no vertical tearing at all...
So... keep VSYNC turned OFF until you won't get vertical artifacts...
By the way... some programs (for example RivaTuner) allow you to adjust the number of frames that your graphics card will try to render ahead... more frames rednered ahead means better framerates but also more tearing... you'll have to experiment what number is best for your computer configuration...
In most cases 3 to 6 frames ahead are optimal...

That was a great explanation thanks RashbaNor. I had no idea what it was either. Glad someone did and cleared it up.
