Which Passing Style Do You Use?

Which method of passing do you use, Direct passing where you bring up the icons and pass to a guy or point-n-pass where you just face the guy and hit the pass button?

If I want to pass it across to a player, I use point and pass. If I want to make a complex pass across the court or behind another teammate, or two teammates too close to each other I use direct pass.

I got 3 more questions:

1.How much are player ratings taken into account when you play with shot control Set to 'user'?

2.When having shot control set to 'CPU', I assume it means that it relies solely on the player's given attributes whether he makes the shot or not.

3.If you consider yourself to be a hardcore sim guy which one is better if question #2 is true?

I use direct passing very frequently for the 2K series.

But for Live its more a point-N-pass game for me. I also use the alley-oop button cause if you tap the button it passes the ball to the player closest to the basket and its very handy. I only use direct pass when I want to ball hog with a certain player.
