To-do list for PC Patchers!

Sun Oct 26, 2003 7:03 am

For all of us that patch for PC, I've decided to list some things that need to be fixed. Add anything to the list that I didn't think of!
1. Indiana and Boston courts.
2. Kobe left arm patch (new tattoos)
3. Miami Heat coach from Pat to Stan Van Gundy ( maybe copy JVG's face?)
4. Anything to put the Bobcats in dynasty and season mode

some guy, but i can not say who it was cuz it would be bad, and not good at all...
(it was definitely not me at all... realy... why would i say such a thing???) wrote:

i'll probably make a tattoo patch the day i get my hands on the game (if it allows such patching abilities, which i hope it will), i've already got it drawn out, and done for live2003... so doing it for 2004 will not be a big deal...

Because those were the only two arenas that EA couldn't sign to a deal. All the other teams have the real arenas they play in.

I know ea didn't make there arenas but they did make there courts and you can't patch arenas I think.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think nba live 2004 has the "Fleet Center" logo on the court because EA doesnt have an agreement with the Fleet center.

I think almost everything needs patching...including shoes...faces..legands...and especially the jersey textures. I'm gonna transfer everything i did from live 2003 (if possible) and add more stuff i got in the works. First task will be conversion though.

No, it's actually Kobe's right arm.

1st thing I'm gonna do, is replace every teams jersey :)

One request for patchers from me - please try to get full packages uploaded, and not just single patches.

After not patching Live 2003 for quite some time I wanted to update shoes, cyberfaces, jerseys etc. - but due to the fact that every patch was a single file to dl, I didn't bother because it would have taken me a day or two to just find and dl all the files. So it would be great if patchers could get together and make a combined patch which has - say - all updated cyberfaces etc. :)

yeah me too. ´would be VERY nice if patches would be available as packages. please :o

The size of such packages makes them unpopular, though a few compilation patches wouldn't go astray.

no1 probably remembers,
but i made 1 big patch that replaced all the jersey for all nba teams for 2003

I remember it Jowe it was great, but I have high speed and a lot of people are still dialing up. Looking forward to all your patches, if they are able to be done.

Oh, yeah. My mistake.

I'm not sure if this was intentional, but Patrick Ewing is left off of the 90s all-stars... Maybe a Ewing patch.

Oh and if they still do the 1,000,000 point salary cap thing, make a salary cap patch. (I remember there was one out for Live 2001)

That package idea is awesome. This would especially be usefull if people put packages together for each version of live. it would have been nice to see update packages for past versions of live like 2000 and 2001. It's a bitch trying to track down patches after a fresh install.

My suggestion:

Gather a collection of the most downloaded patches of last year and stick them in a bundle for each version of live if possible. I'm pretty sure that aslong as the pacthers are given their credit there should be no prob in distributing patch bundles. if the bundle is way to big then divide it up into categories (jersey bundle, cyberface buncle... court..etc.)
