What controller will you use for NBA Live 2004?

Thu Oct 16, 2003 1:26 am

Hey,

I still use my Microsoft Sidewinder controller which has been great for me.

But now EA Sports has this special moves you can do using those controllers with dual analog controllers (ei. PSX, XBOX controllers).

What controller will you be using for NBA Live 2004 on PC?

Thanks

Adrian.

PS: I hope NBA Live 2004 comes out in Australia the same day it does in the USA.

Thanks to my Awesome Adaptor which I used in 2003, I'll be staying with this...

I have a regular playstation so I just use an adaptor to use the controller for my PC Games. It totally rocks.

It works great.

Mook Dog, You can get them off of eBay for pretty cheap...Usually between 4 and 12 dollars, so it is so worth it. Go to EBAY, and search for "PSX PC USB" without quotes. And it will come up with a large amount of results. My adaptor has two-player capability, it is awesome. I'm thinking about getting two or three more, so me and some of my friends, 6 total, can play. We want to be all on one team, so 5 of us I guess. We want to go through season mode on the hardest level and see how good we can get. Here is an example of the Item:

They are at a great price, I just bidded on another.

I want one of those too, as soon as they're in Canada. I've been using my Gravis Gamepad Pro for many years now. I think I might want to start using the analog sticks while keeping the style.

I love this, it's easily the best controller I've ever owned.

well its not that bad actually, but something snapped inside my A-button and it makes a weird click noise every time you press it... and if I don't have that Flight Throttle on the top right exactly in the center then my character in Vice City spins around like a sugared up ten year-old girl at a sleepover. :?: While we're kind of on the subject does anyone know if you can assign custom controls independently on offense and defense in 2004? Instead of the way it was in 2003 where you could only change the two functions at once for one button, steal/shoot etc.

I've been using the wingman rumblepad for quite sometime now on the PC. I have Live 04 on the XBOX and I've been playing with the type S controller and it would probably get too confusing using two different controllers for the same game. So I will just buy the adapter to play the XBOX controller on the PC.

Someone that wants to use an XBOX controller??? :? Weird...

I've always hated those.

The Logitech Dual Action finally came here in Alberta, and I bought one. I gotta say, it's a HUGE upgrade from my old Gravis Gamepad Pro controller. I'm amazed at how fluid and accurate the precision control is as well as the quick responsiveness of the buttons. The design and feeling is nice and I can't wait to play NBA Live 2004 for the PC with this controller. I'm playing it with Live 2003 and NHL 2004 and I'm getting used to it pretty quickly. I recommend this controller.

To anyone who wants the Logitech I got mine from a company called digitallyunique, theyve got a website digitallyunique.com $20 plus shipping if you're not willing to wait until it comes in your area. I have no complaints about doing business with them.
