Vince , although I don't understand the logic of it all...maybe they're, (EA), taking a chance to see if he kicks ass this season oh well, I dont care who's on the cover as long as the game kicks ass .

i know it doesn't change the game with who's on the cover. It's not like omg MJ is on it, it must be GREAT, oh, richard jefferson, i guess it not that great of a game. It doesn't really matter, i just hope the game is good

I think it matters who the "coverman" is of the game. It shouldn't be someone who didn't have that great of a season or was injured for most of it or something like that. Out of those five they should put T-Mac or Kobe because of what they did in the season. Not Vince. He was injured for 60% of the season!

kobe and t-mac were on other manufacturer's basketball game covers, so you can scrap them off the poll since them two legally can't be on it.

the only other player who could be that blacked out guy there, besides starbury, vc and payton, is chris webber i reckon...

It doesn't have to be someone bald. The shadow could be a ball player with very short hair and a round head. That pic could be Amare Stoudamire, Allan Houston, Baron DAcis, etc. It could also be KG.

KG has already been on live 2001, and KG is skinner than that

Could be Vince, but I'm still saying Marbury. As Tony pointed out, it can't be Kobe or T-Mac since there are under contract with other developers. I don't think EA would put a player on the cover twice if they could avoid it, so that rules out KG.

By the way: ANYONE CAN WEAR AN ARMBAND ON ANY ARM IN A GAME OR PHOTO.

A closer inspection of the headshape compared to the photo of Vince does suggest he will be on the cover. As to whether it should or shouldn't be Vince, I don't really know. It really doesn't make a difference who is on the cover, as long as the game is good.

Yeah I think it's Vince Carter. Though it could be Antawn Jamison or Baron Davis, but I haven't took the time to check out their bands.

i think i once saw marbury on nba shootout. and for the issue of left and right arm bands, i don't think this is a good point since the arm band can be either on the left or the right because the picture could either be the original or just the mirror image.

yeah marbury was on shootout, webber was on nba jam. In my opinion i think its still J Kidd he wears an armband on his left arm right where that one is.
