Is there any preview saying about the computer player trading in Dynasty Mode?
I want more wiser and realistic computer trades....

Info on the new Dynasty Mode is being kept under wraps. All we really know is that it's going to be deeper and feature mini-games in the offseason.

What do they actually mean by Mini Games Andrew or anyone ? I dont get the Mini Games concept...Mini Games as in...ehm...Bop the monkey?
Have there been mentions about Trading Draft Picks?

I wonder if they will pull the "Dynasty" Mode gimick and just call it Franchise mode when the game comes out like they did for 2003? I mean we were supposed to get this "Dynasty" mode last year but then they pulled the pin on it and it was just Franchise Mode (with bad trading options)... I do hope they bring back the option to try out trades without the trade actually being accepted...

I would say that mini games means things like the three point comp on the all-star weekend and things like that. But that is just my guess.. we shall see..

The previews mentioned mini games similar to Madden 2003. I've never played Madden 2003, so I can't really say what they'll be like. As David said, it could mean the three point shootout, or perhaps something to do with the offseason. With a bit of luck we'll find out some more info before the release.

Not yet, but they could very well be part of the "deeper" Dynasty Mode.

I think they'll stick with it this year. I remain optimistic. :)

Definitely. I hope the CPU will also inform you of why some trades are declined "(Team) feels this would leave them too weak at power forward". That way you could make another offer without having to give up a player you could otherwise keep and still make a deal.

one thing they have in nba 2k3 is and interest bar so that you can see how interested the team is and what else you need to add. that would be great for live 04 and 3 way trades, draft picks, and rights etc...

I've heard that 2K3 also has a trading block feature, so you can tell which players teams are trying to get rid of, and also advertise your own players. I think that would be a good addition to Live's Dynasty Mode as well.

And for Fantasy Draft options they should only have the rookies being drafted as an option... Or even the created players being drafted in an expansion draft... That would be good...

Also Higher Salary caps and real money earnings;)

If custom teams are in NBA Live 2004, having an expansion draft for empty custom teams when starting a new Dynasty game would be nice.

yeah it does have a trading block feature. you can advertise your player and then after a couple weeks, you can check out how many teams are interested and who or what they are willing to offer. theres two problems with this, the computer offers stupid trades e.g sprewell and the comp will offer pollard and a first round pick, but then wen you go to confirm the trade, the interest meter will barely be filled up and they wont accept their own offer... another problem with it was that it was the only way for the computer to offer trades to you. if you didnt put anybody on the block, then you would never get any offers.... hope live doesnt make these mistakes..

Agreed, if a CPU team is interested in a player, they should make an offer regardless of whether you were looking to ship him or not. Similarly, you should be able to make trades for players who are not on the trading block, if you make the CPU an good enough offer.
