Game wont install :(

I uninstalled my Live 04, then i deleted the NBA Live 2004 folder from program files/EA Sports directory...then i tried to install it to another hard drive i have and everthing was going smoothly until it got to the file copying stage...it brought up the "Please insert Disc 1" window, but the Disc 1 was already in the CD rom, so i hit OK but nothing happened....then i took the CD out and put it back in and still it wouldnt read it...so i dunno what im doing wrong or what i need to do to fix it

yea i know...thats why something is wrong...

the files dont even start copying from Disc 1...it just asks for Disc 1, but its already in the CD rom, so i guess its not recognizing it or somethin
