Getting Bobcats into season mode...

I've ran a search and posted in the official thread but have got no response so I'm posting here where there is some activity.
I'm struggling to get the Bobcats into a season. I did all the instructions in the sticky thread and I've used a DBF Editor before with live so I know how to use it.
The only difference was when I went to change the teamcode from 7 to 4, mine was already on 4 for some reason and it still doesn't work. This is using the latest NLSC roster too. I edited save file 000 which is the 04/05 but did no edits considering thea bove.
The empty spot in the central allows me to click the arrow but no team moves there.
Can anyone tell me how to do this? I want to use them in a season.
