When was first dynasty nba live?

I have seen it in LIve 2001 but I don't know if this is first. Which year was it? Were there rookies and retirements in the mode? Or could you just play and they keep track on wins for more than one year, but no rating change?

The first NBA Live with multi-season play was NBA Live 99. NBA Live 2000 introduced Franchise Mode with retirements, salaries and so forth. NBA Live 2004 was the first game to feature Dynasty Mode, though NBA Live 2005's Dynasty Mode will be all-new.
