bchogan's 2004 Lakers Court patch 2.0

I'm having problems installing this patch correctly. 
The court works fine and everything but there seems to be missing parts.. Here's pics:
How it's supposed to look:
Notice the bench and how there's objects on the floor. But on my comp it comes out like this:
Notice how in my screenshots there's no objects, only shadows
Also, on the bench, the players legs go through the seats
It's only the Laker court that has this problem. All the other courts I've installed have no problems and are perfect.
Anyone know what the problem could be?
Also in his readme it says:
It seems to be relevant to my problem but I've been installing them through the customart method instead of the permanent install. Anybody have any solutions?

!!WARNING!!: I have been having occasional problems with the permanent install. Sometimes, parts of the patch will not install, and a warning message appears, saying that one of the .viv files is a certain size. I haven't found the cause, since it happens at different times to different parts of different patches. I hope to figure out a solution to the problem, but you should make backup copies of the xcourt.viv and xstadium.viv files before installing any of my court patches.
