Installing NBA Live 2004 on WinXP SP2

After entering my CD key, the NBA Live 2004 installation program crashes with the following:

Electronic Arts AutoRun has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Anyone else experiencing this problem or know of any walk-arounds?

I have had the samw problem.... have not figured it out yet ...and can not find the answer anyway ...I am running Madden04 and NHL04 without any issues what so ever. I know this was posted along time ago ..but I thought someone might be able to help.

i have the exact same problem. Just bought the world of ea sports pack from walmart. Installed the other games no problem, but for some reason after entering the CD KEY for NBA Live 2004 I get the NTDLL.dll error???? WTF??
I have updated all drivers and for Nforce2.. Im running an AMD xp2500, 768mbpc 2700, Leadtek geforce 6600GT 128mb. 120gb 7200 rpm drive.. please help us..

Did you try to contact EA Sports hotline? It may be a good first step, as I really can't figure out how to help you

HOTLINE??? is there a 1-800 number or something. Bet I will be on the phone for at least 2HRs, just to have EA blame microsoft. heh. I will check the box for a phone number thanks..
