Delete teams

I am considering making a simulation league for basketball, and I was wondering if there is a game in all of the NBA series that allows you to delete teams, or even better one where you can create you own league, with as many (or as less) teams as you want.

As long as you have the official patch installed, you may play with several custom teams in NBA Live 2004. The creation of custom teams does require DBF editing though.
NBA Live 2000 was the last game to have an in-game Create-a-Team feature. I don't think any NBA Live has allowed you to delete teams from the database without causing problems, but there are workarounds that allow you to keep unused teams while making sure they don't interfere with the league you're trying to create.
