YES, THIS IS A 2004 PATCHING ISSUE

I am trying to put myself (Ben Harrison) in the game. I have created myself, and I'm in the FA Pool. I have a .fsh file that I want as my face. I crated "beharri" in the "xplayer" folder, and stuck the bhed.fsh in it, along with all of kirilenko's .o files (because I'm just trying to see if they'll work) I have edited the players.dbf in my saved game, so that ISCREATED is F, yet my face in the game is pitch black! What am I doing wrong? I will check for answers almost minutely, as I almost peeing myself with anxiety!

You must put BEHARRI in PLAYERPKG in your .dbf .

I did that, and the ID7 thing is 7 squares, and I left that the way it was.

ok, so did you rename your bhed file to beharri.fsh and your .O files to beharri ?

I did all of that, except the rename bhed to beharri.fsh. I'll go try that now, be back in like 2 minutes,

try to verify if the name of your files are right ... I mean that you did made a mistake like BEHARI instead of BEHARRI ...

Or try to rename ID7 in .dbf by BEHARRI

Ok, could you make a little resume of what you did ... I mean creating beharri in render/xplayer, etc ...

1. Created Ben Harrison in game, put in Free Agents
2. Edited C:\My Documents\NBA Live 2004\saves\004\players.dbf to say that "ISCREATED" reads "F" under Ben Harrison, and "PLAYERPKG" reads "BEHARRI", and "ID7" reads "BEHARRI" as well.
3. created "beharri" folder in "xplayer" folder, and put:

beharri_loda.o
beharri_loadau.o
beharri_lodc.o
beharri_lodcu.o
beharri_lodd.o
beharri_loddu.o
beharri_suit_loda.o
beharri.fsh

in said folder. I run the game, and everytime I try and get it to see my player, the game crashes.

NOTE: I REALIZED THAT I HAD MISSPELLED beharri.fsh TO bharri.fsh. ONCE THIS WAS CORRECTED, INSTEAD OF MY FACE BEING PITCH BLACK, THE GAME CRASHES. SO I MAY HAVE SOLVED ONE PROBLEM, BUT ANOTHER HAS SURFACED.

did you get the official EA patch ?

I'm guessing there's a problem with the .fsh file. Did you import the new image for the bhed using fshEd?
